Q. What is the MVP Program?
A. This is Duffy’s Loyalty program designed to reward our Guests. Members earn points for their purchases (1 point for every $1 purchased) and when you reach 100 points, $10 in food and beverage credit will automatically be added to your account overnight.
Q. Why were 100 points deducted from my account?
A. Every time your account reaches 100 points, the points will automatically be deducted and a $10 Reward will be issued.
Q. When can I spend my rewards?
A. When your account exceeds 100 points, the system will automatically deduct the points overnight and issue a $10 credit on the card. Anytime you see more than 100 points on your receipt, the system will deduct the 100 points and you will have a $10 reward to use on your next visit.
Q. How do you qualify for the $25 Birthday Bonus?
A. Members who visit at least 12 times during the 12 months prior to their birthday month will receive the bonus. For example, if your birthday is June 15, you would have to visit 12 times between June 1, 2007 and May 31, 2008 to qualify for the bonus in June 2008. Keep in mind, as long as you have visited 12 times at any point during the previous year you will be entitled.
Q. How do I join?
A. Guests simply fill out a short application at any Duffy’s location. We need your name, e-mail address, zip code and date of birth. That’s all we need to get you started. You will receive your card and begin earning points immediately on that same visit.
Q. What if I don’t have e-mail access?
A. Most people have e-mail access – either at work, the library or you can use you a relative’s or neighbor’s e-mail address. The e-mail access is the key to our program. We will be able to communicate directly and quickly with our Guests. We want to be able to keep you updated on new promotions and opportunities for even more rewards! If you have absolutely no access to e-mail, you will still accumulate points and earn food, beverage and merchandise credits. Since we won’t be able to contact you, there may be a few rewards and benefits that you will miss out on…but you will still be able to participate.
Q. Why don’t I get e-mails from Duffy’s?
A. Your e-mail provider might be mistaking our e-mails for spam. To ensure delivery, add Duffys_@duffysrestaurants.fishbowl.com to your address book. Also note our system is not designed to support duplicate e-mail addresses. For example, a husband and wife who each have their own MVP Card must also each have a unique e-mail address to receive special offers and the proper notifications associated with that account. If more than one account lists the same e-mail address, only the most recent account will receive e-mail notifications.
Q. After I have enrolled, when will my points appear on my account?
A. Within 48 hours. If they have not appeared within 48 hours call hour MVP help desk.
Q. When placing a takeout order on Tuesday, will my double points, double again?
A. No. Sorry, although we do offer double points on Tuesdays and double points on take out orders everyday, points can only be doubled once on any given transaction.
Q. Do I get double points on the 40% off Afternoon Break discount between 2:00pm and 4:00pm on a Tuesday?
A. Yes.
Q. When I redeem my rewards, will I earn points?
A. No. We do not issue points on the amount you have redeemed. For example, if your bill is $36 and you redeem $10 in rewards, you will only earn 26 points for that visit. At the time of purchase you will receive a receipt showing 36 points added, but 10 points will be automatically deducted overnight.
Q. I have received a coupon in the mail for Duffy's. Can I use the coupon and earn points as well?
A. Yes. You will earn points for the amount of money you spend on that visit. You will not receive points for the free items you received.
Q. Can I earn points for catered events?
A. Yes. The rule is that only the person paying the check may receive points on their account. A member can receive up to 5,000 points for a catered function provided that they were a member prior to booking the event. Obviously points will not be issued for tax, gratuity or room rental charges.
Q. What if I lose my card?
A. No problem. You can be re-issued a card at any Duffy’s location. The server will give you a “Help Card” with clear instructions for the procedure to transfer your existing points onto a new one.
Q. Will my MVP Card ever expire?
A. Points and rewards on an active card never expire. Cards that have no activity for over 1 year are automatically cancelled and the points and rewards balance are forfeited. To keep your card from being cancelled, simply use it at least 1 time per year. We consider the “year” to be based on your enrollment date. For example, if you signed up for an MVP Card in June, you need to use it at least 1 time between June and May to following year.
Q. If my card is cancelled due to one year of inactivity, can I get it back?
A. Sure, just call our MVP help desk. We will reload your points and money onto a new card and mail it to you.

Q. What is the All Star card?
A. The All Star card is a new level of our MVP program for our most loyal fans. It will earn you 1.25 points for every dollar spent, “On Deck” Seating so you can skip the wait, and an exclusive All Star hotline for the best customer service.
Q. How do I qualify to be an All Star?
A. MVP’s who spend more than $1,000 a year automatically qualify. All qualifying members will receive an e-mail informing them of their All Star level status change. Remember, we must have your mailing address to be able to send your new All Star MVP card.
Q. Will I get a new account number when I receive my All Star card?
A. No. Your account number will remain the same.
Q. Will I always be an All Star?
A. You will be an All Star for one year after you qualify. The All Star level is acquired by any MVP member who spends more than $1,000 or more per year. In the event that you do not spend $1,000 in the required time frame, you will be re-issued an original MVP card with all points and rewards earned, forfeiting the All Star card.
Q. How can I tell how much money I have spent?
A. Currently when logging into your profile, you can view your spending history. We base the qualifications on the prior 12 months spending, this does not include bonuses or adjustments. As we improve our technology, we will have an “at a glance” view on your customer profile page.
Q. Can I combine accounts to qualify as an All Star?
A. Yes. However you can only combine a maximum of two accounts.
Q. Why didn’t I get my All Star Card?
A. The best way to ensure that you receive your All Star card is to be sure that we have your current e-mail address and mailing address. If you received your Congratulations, You’re an All Star e-mail and still have yet to receive your All Star card, please contact us via e-mail at mvpcard@DuffysMVP.com.
